About
The Disabled Underground is a digital and physical zine publication produced in downtown Indianapolis. Our magazine showcases disabled creators to give them a platform that is currently being denied from them. Inspired by Fred Hamptons Rainbow Coalition, we feature other abled friends who may need a page to tell their story.
Disability justice is in your best interest, disabled or not.
Disability has no bounds and impacts every demographic across the globe. No one is immune from becoming disabled. If you aspire to be a centennial, then you must accept that you too will be disabled. Aging comes with the privilege of becoming disabled. Universal accessibility will lead to liberation of all people; disabled or not. Investing in the liberation of disabled people is an investment into everyone's future. Every class and creed is touched by disability. It is in everyones best interest to be invested in disability rights.
